The 4th transnational project meeting of the project DEMINA – Innovation and continuing education in destination management, managed by The Institute of Hospitality Management and Economics Prague and implemented by a consortium of seven organizations from six countries with the financial support of the European Union under the Erasmus+ Program, took place on 27-28 June 2022 in Skrad, Croatia, at the headquarters of the partner organization PINS Skrad.
The partnership discussed the current status of the implementation of project outputs and evaluated the materials created so far. Furthermore, the partners focused on completing the implementation of the training program and training methodology for the area of destination management and audit. After a discussion on the ongoing implementation activities, the partners agreed on the next step in completing the project outputs, planning the educational activity C1, which will take place in the Czech Republic, and on the system for obtaining feedback on the created materials from the target groups. The program also included a presentation of the necessary steps and documentation related to the financial management of the project, publicity and reporting. A focus group with experts and stakeholders from the field of destination management, planned and organized by the Croatian partner, was part of the program as well as site inspection on local destination.
The date of the final project meeting, which will take place in Prague, was set for the end of October 2022, and in the second half of October, as well multiplier events will take place in all partner countries to promote the project outputs to a wide professional public.
